1:1200 Vessels
These are made by Langton Miniatures and cast in white metal alloy. The range is expanding to include buildings and fortifications, some of which are in resin.

ACW Types
The hastily built navies of both sides, meant that there was a diversity of ships and weaponry.  This page gives descriptions of some of the ships.

Colour Schemes

Iron and Fire
Written by David Manley, published by A&A Game Engineering and available through Langton Miniatures. This is a versatile and exciting set of rules covering the ACW and Ironclad period. There is an optional supplement for the ACW period, "Blue Steel, Grey Thunder" which goes into that period in greater depth and offers campaign systems and vastly expanded ship data tables.
