To commemorate the 200th anniversary
of the Battle of Copenhagen (April 2001), Langton Miniatures are producing new models of
ships and ancillary items. Some of the models are generic and can be used for other
periods.
A fleet list is provided for both the
Danish and British sides, together with the appropriate hull reference(s) needed to
represent each vessel.

Danish Models by Langton
Miniatures
There are two lists below: Vessels and Buildings. The buildings list is incomplete at this
time.

ND6 as Prøvesteenen with pole masts and bowsprit.
Note on colour schemes of Danish
vessels from the Royal Danish Naval Museum:
"It was not until after the war that we adopted the Nelson colour scheme, and
prior to that only very few parts of the ship were painted. The paint was very expensive
and it was therefore only such places as the gunports, parts of the superstructure and the
decoration, which were painted." Orlogsmuseet.
The colours most used for decoration, it
seems, were green, blue and red. For the hull sides we would suggest wood colour or buff. Langton
