THE PHANTOM FLOTILLA - £7.50
By Peter Shankland. Fascinating story of how Britain dragged two motor launches through dense African bush for hundreds of miles to combat the German naval presence on Lake Tanganyika. The party was under the command of one of the most flamboyant egotistical naval commanders the RN has ever produced.
